Innovation Worth Celebrating: Koor

At the FaBA launch last night, I had the pleasure of meeting Jean-François Roiron, the innovator behind Koor, a cleverly designed, reusable container with potential to help replace single-use pouches and shift the dial on sustainable packaging.

What I enjoy most about this innovation is its versatility: Koor isn’t just for one product or category. It’s built for multiple uses across a wide range of applications: food, personal care, home care, and more. It’s a simple but powerful concept that supports the circular economy and reduces the everyday waste we often overlook.

Koor has rightly earned two Gold Awards at the 2024 Australasian Packaging Innovation & Design Awards, and I can’t wait to see where this goes next. Well done, Jean-François, this is the kind of innovation we need more of.
